Agencies fill vacancies.
People Caring Group builds workforce capacity.

That single difference changes everything about how you plan, retain and grow your care team.

🌺 Fijian values meet Australian aged care

In Fiji, caring for elders is not a job — it is a way of life. That instinct is what Australian residents deserve.

Why People Caring Group
People Caring Group is a privately owned Fiji–Australia workforce solutions company. We maintain a curated pool of sponsor-ready care professionals who already hold the CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support — delivered through the Australia Pacific Training Coalition and awarded by TAFE Queensland — supporting Australian providers with workforce continuity, retention and quality care outcomes.
"People Caring Group is a private Fiji–Australia aged care workforce partner — we identify, prepare, transition and support care professionals for long-term retention, not a one-off fix."
Most agencies compete on how quickly they can fill a vacancy. We compete on retention, continuity and quality of care — the three things aged care providers are measured on every day.

A system, not just access

A working Fiji–Australia pipeline,
ready from day one.

People Caring Group is not selling access to Fiji — we are selling a system. A pipeline built on relationships and cross-border workforce expertise our founders have spent careers developing — one a provider could not assemble quickly alone.

🇫🇯
Established Fiji relationships
Years of on-the-ground networks across Suva, Nadi and Lautoka. Not a list of names — genuine trust-based relationships with care professionals and communities.
🎯
Care professional identification capability
We know who is work-ready, who is culturally aligned and who is motivated for the right reasons. That judgement takes time to develop.
📚
Cultural preparation framework
A structured programme preparing care professionals for Australian workplace culture, cost of living, accommodation and employer expectations.
🛡️
End-to-end coordination
qualification verification, English assessment, police checks and work-readiness — the worker-side compliance burden that deters most providers from going direct.
💛
Retention framework
Post-arrival support, wellbeing check-ins, family engagement. The infrastructure that turns a new arrival into a long-term employee.
Building a Fiji pipeline yourself would take 2–3 years and significant investment to replicate what People Caring Group has already built.

And that is before the ongoing operational cost of managing care professionals from identification through to post-arrival retention — across two countries, two regulatory environments, and two very different workplace cultures.

People Caring Group exists so that providers can work with a structured, operating system from day one — rather than building one alone.

The real problem

What keeps aged care
executives awake at night

Sound familiar? These are the challenges our pipeline is built to solve.

😓
Can't fill shifts. Agency costs are spiralling and continuity of care is suffering.
🔄
High attrition and job-hopping is destroying resident relationships and quality of care scores.
📋
Compliance pressures are increasing. You need culturally responsive, qualified staff — not warm bodies.
💸
Rising agency and turnover costs with no improvement in retention or workforce stability.
📍
Workforce planning uncertainty. No reliable pipeline for the next 12–24 months.

What providers gain from a People Caring Group pipeline:

✓
Reduced shift gaps and agency dependency
✓
Improved retention through genuine cultural alignment
✓
Continuity of care — staff who stay and build resident relationships
✓
Reduced turnover and lower long-term workforce costs
✓
Long-term workforce planning with a reliable pipeline
✓
Compliance-ready, work-ready care professionals from day one
Why Fiji

Fiji is the advantage.
Not the limitation.

In Fiji, caring for elders is woven into everyday life. Respect, compassion, community and family responsibility are not taught in a classroom — they are lived values passed down through generations.

These are the instincts that make a great carer. Not just technically competent — but genuinely warm, patient and present. Competitors can source from many countries. They cannot replicate Fiji's culture of care.

🗣️
Strong English capability
Fiji's official language is English — no language barrier with residents, families or teams
🤝
Cultural alignment
Fijian communities share values of respect, warmth and family that align naturally with Australian aged care
🏠
Family-centred care tradition
Caring for elders is a family responsibility in Fiji — not a job. That instinct transfers directly to residential care
🌏
Established Australia relationship
A long-standing cultural, community and professional relationship between Fiji and Australia that supports smooth workforce transition
"In Fiji, we don't think of caring for our elders as work. It is simply what family does. I want to bring that to the people I care for in Australia."
— Care professional, People Caring Group pipeline
Care professional preparation

Work-ready before
they arrive at your door.

Many providers have been burned by technically qualified overseas care professionals who were not prepared for life and work in Australia. Homesickness, accommodation stress, cultural misunderstanding — these are the real reasons workers leave.

At People Caring Group, care professionals are not simply qualified. They are comprehensively prepared — before they board the plane.

Retention model

Built for retention.
Not just a quick start.

Most agencies measure success by filling a role. We measure success by retention. A care professional who leaves after six months is not a success — for the provider, the resident, or the worker.

Our retention model is a structured framework that keeps workers engaged, supported and committed — before, during and after arrival.

🏆 Structured retention support
Unlike traditional staffing models, our care professionals are supported through a structured retention and wellbeing framework designed to support workforce stability and continuity of care. Details are discussed with providers as part of the engagement process.
🇫🇯
Pre-departure preparation
Cultural readiness, practical preparation and expectation-setting before care professionals leave Fiji
👨‍👩‍👧
Family engagement
Keeping care professional families informed and supported — reducing the pull factors that cause early departures
🌏
Cultural transition support
Ongoing guidance through the first weeks and months of life and work in Australia
🤝
Employer integration support
Working with your team to ensure cultural fit, early workplace success and positive resident relationships
💬
Ongoing wellbeing check-ins
Regular check-ins throughout their time with you — identifying and resolving issues before they become departures
Post-arrival support

A good arrival is
only half the job.

"Most providers have experienced overseas workers leaving because of homesickness, accommodation issues, isolation or workplace misunderstandings. We stay engaged after they arrive so that doesn't happen."

Post-arrival support is where most pipeline models fail — and where People Caring Group is different. We do not consider our job done when a care professional arrives at your facility.

We remain an active support system for both the worker and your team throughout their time with you.

What we manage after they arrive:

Homesickness and family separation support
Accommodation issues and practical daily living challenges
Workplace misunderstandings and cultural friction
Isolation — connecting workers with Fijian community networks in Australia
Employer concerns — early intervention before issues escalate
Contract renewal conversations and long-term pathway planning

How it works

Our four-stage provider engagement

From your first conversation with us to a care professional settled on your floor — here is exactly how a partnership works, stage by stage.

Stage 01
Engagement & discovery
We start with a no-obligation conversation to understand your facility, workforce gaps, culture and care requirements, then agree the partnership and priorities together.
Week 1
Stage 02
Selection
We present prepared, culturally matched care professionals — with full profiles and video introductions — and you interview and choose your preferred people. We manage communication throughout.
Weeks 2–4
Stage 03
Compliance & transition
We coordinate qualification verification, police checks, English assessment and worker-side readiness, working alongside your migration adviser through the sponsorship process.
Ongoing
Stage 04
Arrival, integration & retention
We support each care professional through arrival, induction and cultural integration, then stay engaged with ongoing wellbeing check-ins and the long-term pathway, including the transition to permanent residency.
Arrival & beyond

Compliance, coordinated: We handle worker-side readiness — qualification verification, police checks, English assessment and work-readiness — and partner with your migration adviser through the sponsorship process, so your team can focus on care. People Caring Group is a privately owned workforce solutions company operating independently. Contact us to discuss the right approach for your facility.

The practical detail

How a partnership works
in practice.

The values matter — but so do the specifics. Here is the commercial and visa reality of a People Caring Group partnership, in plain terms.

“No sponsorship, no departure.” No care professional leaves Fiji without a named employer’s binding sponsorship in place. We are a workforce pipeline — never a labour-hire agency placing people on spec.

How the commercial model works. Engagement is employer-funded and staged across the partnership, with fees aligned to milestones rather than charged up front. In line with Australian migration law, all sponsorship and onboarding costs are borne by the employer and are never recovered from the care professional in any form. A detailed fee schedule is shared when we begin a conversation.

What to expect:

Visa pathways. Sponsorship through the Labour Agreement, subclass 482 and subclass 494 streams — confirmed and lodged by your nominated migration adviser.
Indicative timeline. Because our care professionals are already qualified — and many are English-tested — the timeline is set by the sponsorship and visa process, not by candidate readiness. Once a partnership is signed, typically around three to six months to arrival, depending on the visa stream and whether you already hold sponsorship or a labour agreement (confirmed with your migration adviser).
Who does what. We coordinate all worker-side readiness — qualifications, police checks, English assessment and preparation; your migration adviser lodges and manages the visa.
Your role as sponsor. We walk you through your responsibilities as an approved sponsor before you commit, so there are no surprises later.
The long-term pathway. Our model is built around retention and the eventual transition to permanent residency — not a short-term fix.

Care professional qualifications

Trained to the Australian standard.
Qualified to work in aged care.

Our pipeline is deliberately narrow. We only present care professionals who already hold the formal qualifications required to work in Australian aged care — so providers receive job-ready professionals, not people who still need training from scratch.

Every care professional we present holds the CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support — delivered in Fiji by the Australia Pacific Training Coalition (APTC) and awarded by TAFE Queensland, a nationally recognised AQF qualification.
This is the entry standard for our pipeline.
